Addition of the Market tab to AlphaScreener

We’ve made a major upgrade to AlphaScreener. For those of you who are not familiar with AlphaScreener, it is a screener and backtesting tool that can help you carry out your investment research faster and with more rigor.

It is free to use*, and if you have the Vested Premium subscription, your subscription includes the AlphaScreener Plus plan (go to the bottom of this blog post to learn more on how to activate your subscription).

About the update

To help you keep tabs on the rapidly changing market, we have added the Market tab.

The Market tab is comprised of the following features:

‍

‍Heat map of the S&P 500 that is filterable based on sector, timeframe, and other factors.

‍

Sector graph that shows you the performances of the different market sectors (the energy sector is up 59% YTD!?)

‍

The biggest gainers and losers table summarizes the largest positive and negative movers over a certain period of time.

‍
